Hi, I am Lyn VanSchoiack.
I am a woman of many trades....and have to many hobbies to mention! I developed a love for photography over the years from simply taking photos in my lab work, my mountain adventures, traveling and most of all while raising my kiddos.
I started my education in biology and winded up in Forensic and Organic Chemistry. I was the geek always taking pictures through the microscope and figuring out different ways to view specimens through a lens. Microscope photography is a whole other world of fun!
I frequently run trails, hike, backpack, hunt in the mountains so I have many opportunities of taking photos of lakes, wild animals, lots of flowers, bugs and other random stuff I come across. Taking photos in my travels helps me remember the experience I had in that moment.
Most importantly, photography is special to me because I always took lots of photos while my 5 kiddos at home were growing up. My kids had some of the craziest sports schedules. I am thankful for the photos I have because they grew up fast....to fast. I love looking back through their photos.
